Picture this: you’re swimming in the ocean, something brushes your leg, you panic slightly but then you think, “It’s probably a fish.” (Please don’t be a shark.. or a jellyfish.. or something else from our imagination)
But by 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish.
How Did We Come to Be?
Now picture this then:
Future children are swimming in the sea, something brushes their leg and the inevitable question comes: What was that? The true answer will probably be: a plastic bottle. And that’s seriously not cool.
So we decided to do something about it.
We know it takes two steps at once:
1) removing the plastic already in the sea
2) stopping more from getting in.
But there was another problem. When we looked at the eco-focused brands out there, the products were just… subpar. Nobody wants that. The way forward isn’t about settling for mediocrity wrapped in a halo of “eco-friendliness.” It’s about providing a better product!
That’s why we spent two years crafting the baddest, meanest tumbler on the block — one that just happens to be eco-friendly. Every purchase helps remove 1 kg of plastic through our marine conservation partners, and by its very nature, it cuts down on single-use plastic, keeping more from entering our oceans.
